Gothenburg celebrates 10 years anniversary

Over 70 players celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Gothenburg Open with a Challenger this weekend (4-6 Nov), which is Challenger record this year. Gothenburg is the so called home of Racketlon, where the first ever World Championships were held in 2001 and two more followed through to 2003. Five draws will be played, with the Men Elite field including 10 of the top 12 Swedish players challenged by the Danes.

Poker Professional joins Racketlon world

Big favourite for victory is world number three Stefan Adamsson, who is now back healthy and wants to prove he is a serious contender for a medal at FIR NOVOMATIC Single World Champs at the end of the month (24-27) in Austria. His own national team friends Christian Wall and Mikael Matern will give him a good challenge as well as Danish dynamite represented by World Tour Race leader Jesper Ratzer, Kasper Jonsson and poker professional Gustav Hansen (credit: rubinfoto.com).
